The need for reforestation is real, global, and ever-changing and Guidebook aims to further its mission of social responsibility and giving back to the environment. Guidebook has always strived to be as green as possible. In addition to creating a mobile solution to improve communication, dissemination of information, and efficiency for organizations, we’ve also focused on:
  • Making sure our mobile solution promotes eliminating paper waste and consulting with our clients on the best ways to cut down on printing and paper costs
  • Revamping our own internal company processes to become green-certified by adopting practices that advocate sustainability and conserve resources
  • Volunteering in our community at locations like Lands End, a part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, to ensure the betterment and beautification of the area
Moving forward, for every guide purchased, a portion of the funds will go towards planting trees -- with the goal of offsetting carbon emissions and investing in the planet. We’ve partnered with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization that supports companies who want to help the environment by planting trees to restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity, and make a positive social impact around the world.   We are very excited to make this commitment, and would like to send an extra special thank you to all of our customers who have helped us get to this point -- and who will now directly impact our ability to give back to our planet over time.
