Can we really generate revenue by selling ad placements?
Many of our higher ed customers have highly engaged app audiences. This is great for local businesses, the campus bookstore, and other departments to get their message in front of more eyes. What happens if alumni have trouble downloading the app?
Not everyone can download an app, we get it. Those individuals can access your app content through their phone’s browser or desktop computer on Guidebook Web, so everyone can feel connected to the experience.
Do you offer any integrations?
Yes! We know how hectic using multiple event planning tools can be, so we integrated our app Builder with the tools our customers use most. We connect with software like Eventbrite, Marketo, Cvent, and Splash. Plus, our Zapier integration allows connections to 10,000+ systems. How do alumni download the app for homecoming or year-round communication?
Upon publishing your app, you’ll have a custom landing page to share with your audience - as well as a unique QR code. Our app Builder also gives you tools like email promotion, posters, and social media templates (and more) to make promoting and downloading your event app super simple.
Can I make changes to the campus alumni app after I publish it?
Absolutely. If at any point you need to make a change, just jump right back into our system, make those edits, and hit Publish. Within seconds, your updates will be live. And, if you need to send any last-minute notifications to your users, you can do that straight from your phone or tablet with our Mobile Admin capabilities.
Can anyone share their event experience on social media through the app?
Yes! You can integrate your desired social media platforms right into your app interface. Find out more here.
Can alumni and guests access the app’s content before the event starts, and after it’s over?
Your app content is available as soon as you publish. So, if your app is ready months in advance, alumni and guests can download it as early as you want! You can build interest for your event and encourage app download with your event marketing website. After the event is over, your app content remains live as long as your audience needs.
