This is a dedicated look at Guidebook's growing integration with Slate — what's already live, and what's coming next. For institutions that manage student data in Slate, this integration turns in-app engagement into enrollment intelligence, connecting event activity to a student's progress toward enrollment instead of leaving that data stuck in two separate systems.

Introducing the Slate Integration

Guide builders can now set up the Slate integration to begin syncing student details into a student's in-app profile.

• Name, NetID, OL group, college, and major sync into the student's profile
• Set up once — syncing runs automatically after that

Locked Student Profile Fields

For institutions using the Slate integration, student profile fields are now locked to Slate-managed data, keeping information consistent across both systems. Non-student users aren't affected by this change.

Note: Displaying Slate data in the app requires single sign-on (SSO) to be configured, using the student's Slate NetID as the unique identifier.
